PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana

The Government of India has approved the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana on 29th February, 2024 to increase the share of solar rooftop capacity and empower residential households to generate their own electricity. The key objective is to help provide free/low-cost electricity to 1 crore households up to 300 units of electricity per month by installation of rooftop solar.

Who are eligible to apply for the Scheme?

The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Must own a house with a roof that is suitable for installing solar panels.

The household must have a valid electricity connection.

The household must not have availed of any other subsidy for solar panels.

The National Portal will assist the households by providing relevant information such as appropriate system sizes, benefits calculator, vendor rating etc. The consumers can choose the vendor and the make of the Roof Top Solar unit they wish to get installed.

Empaneled Vendor

We are empaneled with MSEDCL as a registered vendor to execute the rooftop solar project installation work through PMSG National Portal for Solar Rooftop in Maharashtra under PM Suryaghar Scheme.
